TGS supports sustainability efforts in Brazil with film festivals

TGS sponsored and participated at the recent Santa Catarina Ridge International Environmental Film Festival. TGS is a leading provider of multi-client geoscience and engineering data for Exploration & Production company. TGS has announced that it is working with Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP) Marine Geosciences Group. This event, organized in conjunction with the Latin American Environmental Film Festivals. TGS has announced that it has fired first shot to commence a new survey in the MSGBC Basin.

It focuses on the causes related to sustainability, drew an audience of nearly seven thousand people. TGS will release preliminary imaging results for the Amendment Phase 1 FWI node survey. TGS and Schlumberger today announced a new 3D seismic reimaging project in the Egyptian Red Sea. Lasser owns, maintains and licenses a nationwide U.S. well production database. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA announced that it has completed its acquisition of Spectrum ASA. A federal agency tasked with overseeing offshore oil and gas activities.

“Our investment in sustainability efforts both within Brazil and globally is a strong commitment by us”, said Joao Correa, country manager for Brazil at TGS.

The festival aims to promote discussion on such urgent and vital matters to the planet as food sovereignty. TGS announced the EIQ TGS Data Loader, developed in collaboration with EnergyIQ. TGS and PGS have announced a partnership with Bain Geophysical Services to create a new regional study. TGS and Schlumberger announced today a strategic collaboration for multiclient ocean-bottom node projects. TGS involvement in the event is part of the company’s focus to expand its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

A French governmental, non-profit research and higher education establishment is licensing some of TGS’s Banda datasets. TGS first announced its intent to acquire Spectrum on 2 May 2019. Company develop its global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) efforts. Completion of the acquisition and the merger plan has been registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. TGS has been providing Digital Well Log Data Processing services to BSEE since 2004. The new share capital of TGS is NOK 29,680,959.25 divided on 118,723,837 shares each.

TGS contributes directly to the oil and gas sector in a challenging period. Companies can automatically blend industry leading data with proprietary customer data. Map active and in-active faults and estimate slip on them, along with an estimation of the total displacement/shortening. The Eastern Canada Crustal Study will build 3-D models including depth to magnetic/crystalline basement. The data will be added to TGS’ current Well Performance Database. BSEE requires complete, defect-free sets of processed, high-quality open-hole digital well log data.

Support of events such as the FICASC, helps bring awareness and exposure to ESG and sustainability. The project will comprise reimaging data from three overlapping seismic surveys totaling 3,600 km. All production data undergoes proprietary operational processes to standardize and allocate production to the well level. The enterprise well master data management platform for advanced analysis and decision making. It includes the integration of all legacy seismic and non-seismic data and will apply advanced imaging technologies.

“We are pleased to have formally closed the transaction to acquire Spectrum”, Kristian Johansen, CEO of TGS, said.

Spectrum’s portfolio will enhance TGS position as a leading multi-client geophysical data provider covering all mature. The EIQ TGS Loader processes the most up-to-date and complete data by automatically accessing. The study was launched in Q1 of 2019 with early industry participation. The project is the latest in a list of similar CSR activities undertaken by TGS in Brazil. The data is matched, validated and blended with other proprietary and third-party sources within a PPDM gold compliant data.

TGS contributed to a cultural photographic publication showcasing Brazilian talent. The project is supported by industry prefunding, will be carried out by TGS and WesternGeco. The acquisition fits well with our asset-light business model and provides significant momentum. TGS is the official release agent for new offshore well data and does all the digital well log processing for all four BSEE regions. Company pleased to announce the exciting new look at the crust beneath these highly prospective areas.

2018 the company partnered with Project TAMAR to monitor turtle behavior in the South Atlantic. The data is then provided in a 10/12/14 digit format for consumption by enterprise. It better understand the nesting season, migration, feeding and the possible changes arising from seismic activity. It greatly appreciate the continued trust placed in TGS by BSEE and proud to better serve national oil and gas industry. This type of regional study helps to better understand the basic geologic framework for the area.

The focus on ESG continues to strengthen among stakeholders, particularly among in the investor community. Data will be available before the closing of Egypt’s offshore Red Sea international license. As a member of the UN Global Compact, TGS remains committed to ESG and sustainability. The collaboration with TGS provides a new product for our mutual customers to gain advantage in the market.
