Neptune Energy to acquire interests in German fields from Wintershall Dea

Neptune is an independent global E&P company and, having completed the acquisition of the exploration. The business had production of 160,500 net barrels of oil equivalent per day. The Alliance Agreement between Neptune and TechnipFMC has been signed for an initial five year term. It enhancing production and demonstrating the commitment to grow footprint in key producing regions.

Merakes is being developed as a subsea tie-back to the Eni-operated. Mr Walker is currently General Counsel and Company Secretary of Vivo Energy plc. The agreement covers the full project lifecycle from early concept work. Neptune Energy Norge AS has awarded a rig contract for six wells to CIMC Offshore AS. It have been an operator or partner in these fields for many years. TechnipFMC and Neptune Energy was signed for an initial five-year term.

Together with its partner, the company plans to drill a new gas well. Ben brings extensive experience to the role and will strengthen the management team. The pilot demonstrates the valuable role gas has to play in the integration of various energy systems. Neptune Energy Norge has options to use the rig for additional development. Seagull is an exciting project and shows what can be achieved through a collaborative. The well pad in the municipality of Hoogstede has already been constructed.
